Process:

To summarize, the coaching process involves two key element types: essential and discretionary.

We will work together to identify and implement these elements effectively.

Examples of what is essential:

  • Identify key behaviors to enhance or replace.

  • Determine the best strategies to achieve our goals.

  • Establish a follow-up timeline to track progress.

  • Define the process and metrics for measuring success.

Examples of what is discretionary:

  • Inform selected individuals about your journey.

  • Optionally involve them in the process based on your preference.

  • Regularly follow up with these individuals.

  • Seek confidential feedback from them to assess your progress.

Tracking progress:

If we agree on a six-month program, assessing results will be straightforward using a predetermined questionnaire.

We will utilize a simple daily tracking method, rating each agreed-upon item on a -5 to +5 scale.

Monthly surveys will be conducted to review weekly outcomes and gauge overall progress.

Why is this a very effective process?

Clients engage in active learning through guidance, personal experiences, and observing peers in their environment.

Key characteristics of the process include:

  • Focus on performance measurement that is specific, detailed, and conducted frequently.

  • Clear distinction between developing and maintaining behaviors.

  • Improvement interventions measured against individual performance benchmarks.

  • Use of specific behavioral procedures, ensuring they can be replicated and their effectiveness evaluated through data monitoring.
