Process:
To summarize, the coaching process involves two key element types: essential and discretionary.

We will work together to identify and implement these elements effectively.
Examples of what is essential:
-
Identify key behaviors to enhance or replace.
-
Determine the best strategies to achieve our goals.
-
Establish a follow-up timeline to track progress.
-
Define the process and metrics for measuring success.
Examples of what is discretionary:
-
Inform selected individuals about your journey.
-
Optionally involve them in the process based on your preference.
-
Regularly follow up with these individuals.
-
Seek confidential feedback from them to assess your progress.
Tracking progress:
If we agree on a six-month program, assessing results will be straightforward using a predetermined questionnaire.
We will utilize a simple daily tracking method, rating each agreed-upon item on a -5 to +5 scale.
Monthly surveys will be conducted to review weekly outcomes and gauge overall progress.
Why is this a very effective process?
Clients engage in active learning through guidance, personal experiences, and observing peers in their environment.
Key characteristics of the process include:
-
Focus on performance measurement that is specific, detailed, and conducted frequently.
-
Clear distinction between developing and maintaining behaviors.
-
Improvement interventions measured against individual performance benchmarks.
-
Use of specific behavioral procedures, ensuring they can be replicated and their effectiveness evaluated through data monitoring.
